This is a full-time position for a social media enthusiast with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in social media marketing and community management.

The Role
As our Social Media Executive, you will be the voice of Shop Zetu across all our social media platforms. You will be responsible for bringing our brand to life online, engaging with our community, and driving brand awareness and sales through compelling content and strategic campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Curation – Social calendar, posts, Stories, Reels, TikTok, and artwork briefing.
- Website & Brand Look-and-Feel – Full ownership of visual identity, CMS updates, and digital consistency.
- Community Management – Responses, engagement, and sentiment monitoring.
- Campaign Execution – End-to-end campaign planning including launches, promotions, and logistics.
- Events – Full event ownership from concept to delivery, with close collaboration with the vendor team.
- Vendor Collaboration – Briefing, managing, and holding external vendors accountable.
- Influencer & Brand Collaborations – Identifying, managing, and tracking partnerships.
- Reporting & Monitoring – Analytics, competitor tracking, and regular reporting.
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Working with e-commerce and creative teams.
- Start-Up Specific Expectations – Owning results, building the brand playbook, moving fast, operating lean, and managing up.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Has a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in social media marketing and/or community management, preferably within the fashion, beauty, or e-commerce industry.
- Possesses a deep understanding of all major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Demonstrates a strong eye for visual aesthetics and a knack for creating compelling written and visual content.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting engaging and authentic brand messaging.
- Is a proactive and creative individual with a genuine passion for fashion and the Kenyan style scene.
- Is proficient in using social media management and analytics tools.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is eager to learn and grow.
- Holds a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
